High-Altitude Running in Ethiopia
Embark on an adventure to the Ethiopian highlands in Sululta (altitude 2700m) with a small group of runners, joined by the marathon star Bashir Abdi’s training team.

Eat, train, and sleep – this simple routine will be your focus for three weeks. Under the guidance of Bashir’s coach, Gary Lough, you’ll follow personalized training schedules to help you reach your goals, whether it’s completing the half marathon of Bashir or tackling the Rotterdam marathon.
Beyond the athletic experience, you’ll also immerse yourself in Ethiopian culture. Alongside coffee enthusiast Bashir Abdi, savor the joy of a traditional Ethiopian coffee, with beans roasted on the spot.
Do you need to be a top athlete to join? Absolutely not! If you’re passionate about running and curious about other cultures, this is your chance! Every runner – regardless of skill level – is welcome. The price for this unique three-week experience is €1815.
